Replace or repair defective frames or lenses with the same prescription for one year from date of purchase. Additional costs may apply to upgrades. Sorry, does not apply to loss or theft.

Direct Optical Limited Warranty

For a small fee, we will warranty your new eyeglasses for one year against any type of breakage. Just bring us the damaged eyeglasses with all parts and we will replace them for 50% off our everyday low prices. No questions asked. This policy also applies to similar frames with the same prescription.

We understand that emergency eye problems may occur at any time.  During normal office hours, we make every effort to accommodate emergency patients with red or painful eyes, ocular foreign bodies, and those with sudden vision changes or flashes of light. After office hours contact your local emergency room.

There are many different types and brands of contacts available that make it possible for many people, no matter what their vision need, to wear contacts.

*Disposable
Depending on the brand, they’re disposable daily or on a planned schedule of one to four weeks.

*Color Enhancing
Change your eye color completely or enhance the color you have.

*Extended Wear
Continuous and extended convenience without compromising eye health.

*Other types of lenses
Corrective lenses for special conditions, like astigmatism and presbyopia.

Your exam will include:

• Reviewing vision problems, general health, current medications, working environment, hobbies, etc.
• Examining eyes for signs of possible disorders, including cataracts and retinal problems
• Evaluating current prescription
• Testing eyes' ability to see clearly at all distances
• Measuring the fluid pressure in the eye, which is an important test in detecting glaucoma
• Testing eye coordination and muscle control
• Measuring eyes' ability to change focus
