When I heard that D.O.C. was sold, I decided to go to Direct Optical! Boy, was that the best decision I ever made!
I got a great pair of Dolce and Gabbana glasses – and with the money I had left over, I got a pair of Chanel sunglasses,
too! The president, Dennis Chaiken, even came over and helped me pick them out! This was, by far, the best experience

When I heard “…over 5,000 designer frames”, I knew I had to check out Direct Optical. Plus, they promised to pay me
$10 for driving over 10 miles. I live in Southgate, so I knew I’d travel more than 10 miles to get to Farmington Hills! And
let me tell you – I took turns wearing all three of my new sunglasses during the drive home! Love ya Direct Optical!!

When my eye doctor retired last year, I shopped around at Pearle Vision, LensCrafters, D.O.C. and OptimEyes – hoping to
find the perfect doctor for me and my family. I stopped by Direct Optical on a whim. My mouth literally dropped open
when I saw all those frames! I could not STOP myself from trying them on – I think I was there for an hour. The owner,
Dennis Chaiken, came over (probably because he saw me hopping gleefully from frame to frame!) and gave me some
frame recommendations based on my face shape. He even got me in to see the eye doctor that day. I was very
impressed with the doctor AND the frame selection at Direct Optical. Now, my family and I only go to one place –
